Kate, the Princess of Wales Britain’s second commoner royal caught up in a paparazzi scandal attend Wimbledon on Sunday for the men’s singles final – only her 2nd public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer following surgery six months earlier.
The 42-year old princess is an ardent tennis fan, and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Wimbledon, which hosts the annual tennis championships.
Prince William and his wife Kate also issued a social media message to the Prince of Wales’s sister Anne, who returned to official engagements less than three weeks after being treated for concussion following an incident in which she fell from a horse.
