For the first time in two decades, the United States has five players ranked in Women’s Tennis Association’s top 15, the USTA announced on Monday.

They were led by world number two Coco Gauff followed by sixth-ranked Jessica Pegula and Danielle Collins, who moved two spots to ninth in a memorable final season.

Madison Keys was ranked 14 th while Emma Navarro went up two spots to a career-best 15 th after making her first major quarter-final at Wimbledon.

The last time five American women placed in the top 15 was May 24, 2004, when Lindsay Davenport was the world number four.
