Leaked reports reveal a covert transfer deal for Real Madrid’s top striker – News Sports

One of Liverpool’s summer targets could cost them an eye-watering club record, we have learned.

Fresh from Jurgen Klopp’s work at Anfield, new boss Arne Slot is looking to go one better. The Reds are the transfer tales right now as they look to add new blood in their chase for silverware next season.

Liverpool apparently want to reinforce their attack despite only ending up third in the Premier League last season and missing out on Europa League too. One of those targets is Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, as per Spanish publication Sport.

Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with moves for Rodrygo.

Liverpool would have bid £100m for him if he had asked to leave Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old Brazilan found the net ten times in La Liga and five times more on their way to winning the Champions League last season.

Liverpool eyeing striker — and winger – Long-road taken for Rodrygo versatility.

But Real Madrid would have supposedly turned down the Reds £100 million offer, demanding €150m (£127m) instead.

This would break Liverpool’s transfer record and be the highest price paid for a player by a Premier League club.

Liverpool are keen for a new forward but they will not justify Real Madrid’s valuation

They must instead be in the cheaper-marking thinking that resonates with new boss Slot. Slot is hopeful of copying Klopp’s Anfield achievements and will need fresh faces in this team this summer.
